Love says, "I see the real you - do you?"

1/26/2020

The movements of Martin Luther King, Jr. and Gandhi were not only to free the oppressed but also the oppressors.

They saw clearly that those oppressing others were ignorant - not only about those they were oppressing but also about who they actually are.

There is a saying, "I want to be who my dog believes me to be" but maybe dogs sense the truth that some of us don't yet realize ourselves.

There Are No Victims Here

1/26/2020

The belief in victim-hood creates such a powerless and wretched state.

We believe we're always at the mercy of something – the weather, the horoscope,
our past, a family member, our health, a friend, life, God, certain thoughts or feelings.

We're then blown about and nothing seems reliable or trustworthy.  Fear, restlessness and dissatisfaction then hound us.

But what if all of that is completely false?

What if we're not a victim of anything?

What if nothing real actually stands in the way of our discovering our sense of well being – now, in this moment?

This is the most wonderful discovery we can make!

This discovery changes everything.

Dare to Choose

1/12/2020

Our conditioning screams, "Resist! Judge! Complain!" and our true nature whispers, "Relax, allow and sense."

Feel the difference and then, regardless of how crazy it may seem, dare to choose what you sense is true.

Choose now and now and now - until choice is no longer needed as resistance drops away and you 'fall awake'.

Whenever you notice you have judged something and now feel contracted within -
breath consciously - with full attention on your breath.
Relax, allow, sense... Relax, allow, sense... Relax, allow, sense...

We Are Equipped

Some animals, like cats, have a homing instinct that scientists can’t figure out.
Somehow, they are equipped to sense their way
through many miles of unknown territory all the way home.

How much more does Life equip us for this ‘journey’ all the way Home?

Softly close your eyes, relax attention to your inbreath and outbreath
and on each outbreath notice what is already here.

It is all very simple. Instead of seeing things imagined, learn to see them as they are. When you can see everything as it is, you will also see yourself as you are. It is like cleansing a mirror. The same mirror that shows you the world as it is, will also show you your own face."
      Sri Nisargadatta     Maharaj

      Einstein said,
    "No problem can be solved
      from the same
       level of consciousness
           that created it."

    To see new solutions
       we must see differently.
