Happy Now Year instead of Happy New Year is kind of like the difference between curiosity and hope. Although we're conditioned to feel hope is helpful when we really take a look at it we can see hope keeps our attention in the future. There is really no way around that. When we're hopeful we're not interested in now - only in a certain outcome in the future. Curiosity, however, is different. Very different than hope. Like a young child brimming with curiosity, attention is fully open to now - with no stake in any outcome. 'Happy Now Year' has the eyes of a child. Curious, open, relaxed, not interpreting or judging. Discovering not projecting. Sensing not analyzing. Enjoying not anticipating. Comments are closed.

It is all very simple. Instead of seeing things imagined, learn to see them as they are. When you can see everything as it is, you will also see yourself as you are. It is like cleansing a mirror. The same mirror that shows you the world as it is, will also show you your own face."
